Unique in Romania Covasna has over 350 mineral water springs, maars (crater lakes), sulphur caves (for health), trails for walking and bicycling to a lot of beauty’s created by man and nature. Together it makes a beautiful tourism region.

The village Vargyas borders the new national park which was created under the program „Nature 2000“.
The well-wooded region has also a long hunting tradition - f. e. the King of Spain is nearly every year invited by the former tennis icon Ion Tiriac to Covasna for hunting. But also hunters from whole Europe like the hunting region in Covasna.

According to the latest estimation approx. 2.200 hunters from abroad visited the region during the last hunting season. We have been already contacted from different travel agencies which are specialized on hunting trips. The region is well known due to the high population of bears, wolfs and white dears.

Actually is one of the first private hunting grounds (18.000 ha) in preparation. The final documents will be signed within weeks. With the future sole tenant we have signed prearrangement. With a developed hunting area and a corresponding marketing we expect in future up to 3.000 hunting-tourists.

The projects Riverside and COVASNA 27 Golf & Resort in Vargyas are only approx. 30 minutes by car far from the 2.-biggest international airport in Brasov / Kronstadt. The construction works for the airport started already and the completion date is foreseen in 2012/2013. Due to the new airport approx. 18.000 new jobs will be generated. Also the new motorway - which connects Hungary with Brasov / Kronstadt and Bucharest - will be only 30 km far from Vargyas (completion date 2018 / 2019).

With the new airport and the closed connection to the motorway and the shortened travel time the area will be the most important local recreation area for youngsters and families from Bucharest and Brasov / Kronstadt as well as a preferred holiday destination for all regions in Romania and also Central Europe Therefore this till now undeveloped tourism region has a very positive forecast.
This holiday and hunting region is than reachable by plain in less than 2 hours from Central Europe.

Vargyas is surrounded from skiing areas and is therefore situated in a huge tourism region. We see our project not in competition to the skiing areas. It should be an additional offer for the tourists.

The award of the First European Olympic Youth-Winter-Festival to Transylvania in the winter 2012 / 2013 shows how important the region is for Europe and Romania. This event will be also a kind of business card for the planned candidature for the Olympic Winter Games in 2022.

The projects Riverside and COVASNA 27 Golf & Resort complement one another and will form an enrichment for the whole tourism area.
Due to these projects new jobs will be created in the region. More companies (f. e. bakery, butcher, dry-cleaner, gardener, greengrocer, construction companies, electrical and mechanical installation companies, a.s.o.) will be founded or will create subsidiaries in the region. They will need areas for living, office and storage space. In our project we may offer that.

Because of the economical trend due to the new airport and the motorway and the new generated jobs (up to 18.000 within the first 4 years) a lot of flats and houses will be needed.

The untapped nature and the charming countryside, the increasing demand on hotel rooms, the analyses and research of the communes and local authorities and last but not least the common background in the time of the Austrian-Hungarian-Monarchy forced us to develop the projects. With the project COVASNA 27 Golf & Resort we create the first 27-hole golf complex in Romania. The exclusive ambience of the golf area in combination with a luxury hotel, golf-villas and luxury apartments in a very calm region will develop the COVASNA 27 Golf & Resort to the leading golf area in Romania. An example for that is a similar Golf Resort in Poland which was built in the same style.

The projects Riverside and COVASNA 27 Golf & Resort are only less than 2 km far from each other and complete each other from the economical point of view.
For not golf playing family members are in the near Riverside - project a lot of sports facilities available.

For golf players, who cannot find an accommodation in the COVASNA 27 Golf & Resort, will have the possibility to spend the time in the project Riverside in the hotel with conference centre or in the apartment hotel. Around the youth hostel are tennis courts, squash and badminton courts, fitness room, beach volleyball, table tennis, mini golf and a soccer field.

The EC support programs allow higher assistance programs if the sport facilities will be also used by the local schools. Also a fun-park for skate boarder’s and inline-skaters is foreseen. Walking trails combined with a nature trail and trails for bicycling to the sights nearby complete the offer for leisure. In the forest nearby will be a climbing park.

Additionally will be built approx. 280 houses and 300 apartments. Due to the demand and on request of the local authorities we will install also a small medical centre.
The shopping street with a bank, shops, service companies and restaurants/cafes and a supermarket complete the project. Offices for new companies are also available.

The demand in heating and warm water will be secured by a biomass energy plant because the construction of a heating plant with renewable raw materials will receive special assistance programs from EC.

Due to the agreement between the communities and us the supply to the Riverside project with drink water, canalisation and electricity is already done with EC assistance programs. In the new zoning map are on our plot (64 ha) already the new streets and the main sewer registered. During the last 12 month approx. 70 km of roads to the sights and hunting areas have been renovated.
